Byddwch yn ymuno â seicolegwyr clinigol uwch yn y gwasanaethau amlddisgyblaethol cleifion mewnol ehangach yn un o'r tair prif uned seiciatrig cleifion mewnol ar draws BIPBC a Heddfan (Wrecsam). Bydd y swydd yn gweithio â chleifion mewnol gwasanaethau iechyd meddwl ar draws yr ystod oedran oedolion ifanc a hŷn. Byddwch yn ymuno ag Adrannau Iechyd Meddwl Oedolion ac Oedolion Hŷn cyfeillgar, croesawgar, sy'n tyfu, â chysylltiadau clinigol ac ymchwil rhagorol â'r Ysgol Seicoleg a'r Adran DClinPsych ym Mhrifysgol Cymru, Bangor. Mae cefn gwlad Gogledd Cymru yn cynnig ansawdd bywyd ardderchog ac mae'r swyddi mewn gwasanaethau seicoleg cleifion mewnol presennol sydd wedi'u hen sefydlu. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 7 clinical psychologist, to join our existing inpatient mental health psychology services across Betsi Cadwaladr NHS Board. You will be joining more senior clinical psychologists within the wider MDT inpatient services, and be based at one of the three main inpatient psychiatric units across BCU at Heddfan (Wrexham). The post will be working with mental health service inpatients across the age range of younger and older adults. You will be joining friendly, welcoming, and growing Adult Mental Health and Older Adult Departments, with excellent clinical and research links with the School of Psychology and the DClinPsych Department at the University of Wales, Bangor. The countryside of North Wales offers an excellent quality of life, and the post is within existing and established inpatient psychology services. The post holder will also benefit from BCUHB wide links across North Wales within the wider Psychology Departments, with opportunity for clinical networking North Wales wide. You will be well supported, mentored, supervised, and managed within AMH and Older Adults Departments, with the opportunity for ongoing support and supervision.

The post holder will be expected to integrate well and co-work with their MDT colleagues, providing specialist psychological knowledge and expertise to the inpatient team. As well as providing direct clinical input to clients including specialised psychological assessments and neuropsychological assessments, formulation, and group or individual intervention work; the post will also involve working through others by offering training, supervision, and team formulation. It will also involve attendance at clinical MDT meetings, ward rounds, referral meetings, inpatient service business meetings, and clinical leadership.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
