Wrexham Maelor Hospital is offering an opportunity to join the General Surgery team which will provide you with valuable experience within General Surgery which includes a training budget and structured evidence for your e-portfolio.
We are offering guaranteed study leave and a study budget for you to develop your portfolio, giving you the same opportunities as a training doctor. You will have the opportunity to be linked with a clinical researcher in your area of interest; we are also able to develop a bespoke research and development package, involving in research teams to gain practical research experience, opportunity to get involved in laboratory research
The following rotations are available (can be discussed to fit your needs). These can be taken as a 4 month or 6 month rotation which can be discussed at interview:
• General Surgery
• Trauma and Orthopaedics
Wrexham Maelor Hospital has excellent post graduate facilities and is in a central location with shops, restaurants and train stations within walking distance. The hospital is 15 minutes from Chester and 45 minutes from Manchester and Liverpool.
