Bydd gennych sgiliau cyfarthrebu ac arweinyddiaeth arrderchog ac yn gallu gweithio fel aelod effithiol o'r tim amlddisgyblaethol.
Rydym yn chwilio am nyrs cyffredinol cofrestredig sy'n barod am her newydd, yn rhan o ddatblygu gwasanaeth newydd ac yn rhan o'r rhai newidiadau sylweddol.

Mae'r tîm nyrsio yn rhagweithiol ac arloesol gyda chyfoeth o wybodaeth yn y maes arbenigol hwn.Mae’r ward yn cael ei chefnogi gan dîm o ymgynghorwyr sy’n frwdfrydig ynghylch yr arbenigedd. Mae hefyd tîm o feddygon iau sy’n gweithio ochr yn ochr â’r tîm nyrsio i sicrhau'r gofal gorau posibl ar gyfer ein cleifion.

Mae’r ward a’r arbenigedd yn ymfalchïo yn y ffaith ei bod yn darparu’r gofal gorau posibl i gleifion hŷn gydag amrywiaeth eang o gyd-forbidrwydd a gofynion gofal arbenigol. Mae gan yr holl nyrsys hanfodion gofal wrth wraidd eu gwaith. Mae gan y staff nyrsio ystod eang o sylfaen gwybodaeth a chysylltiadau cryf gyda’n gwasanaethau cymunedol, gan sicrhau bod ein cleifion yn cael eu rhyddhau yn ddiogel ac effeithiol. Byddwch yn cael eich cefnogi drwy’r broses hon.

Mae’r ward arbennig hon yn un o’r rhai sydd newydd gael eu hadnewyddu yn yr ysbyty. Mae gan y ward 8 ystafell sengl a’r gweddill yn faeau 4 gwely, pob un gyda chyfleusterau ystafell ymolchi eu hunain a safle nyrsys ym mhob ystafell. Bydd hyn yn caniatáu i chi weld eich cleifion a threulio mwy o amser wrth ochr y gwely yn darparu’r gofal yr ydych eisiau ei roi. Mae’r ward wedi’i chynllunio gyda’r rhai ag amhariad gweledol neu wybyddol mewn golwg gyda lliwiau cyferbyniol ac addurn golau a gloyw.
Yn gweithio ochr yn ochr â’r tîm nyrsio mae’r Gweithiwr Cefnogi Gofal Iechyd dementia sy’n ymroddedig i ofalu am a sicrhau fod profiadau cleifion gyda dementia o safon uchel. Mae hyn yn cynnwys y defnydd o ystafell gweithgareddau.

Disgwylir i’r holl staff nyrsio gadw’n ddiweddar gyda mentrau ac ymyriadau sydd ar ddod. Mae’r tîm i gyd yn cael eu cefnogi i wneud hyfforddiant gorfodol a chyrsiau eraill perthnasol fel rheoli poen a sgiliau estynedig megis fflebotomi a phibellu (cannulation).
Hefyd bydd staff yn mynd trwy raglen gynefino a byddant yn derbyn cefnogaeth trwy gyfarfodydd staff, ac adolygiadau datblygiad personol.

Ar y cyfan mae hon yn ward gyffrous a diddorol a fydd yn rhoi'r cyfle i ddatblygu’n broffesiynol a datblygu gwybodaeth arbenigol yn y maes hwn.

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic deputy ward manager to work as part of our team on the Care of the Elderly ward. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills and be able to work as an effective member of the multi disciplinary team.
We are currently looking for a registered general nurse who is ready for a new challenge, be part of developing a new service and be part of some significant changes.

Do you have the desire and skills to be part of this new challenge?
If your answer is yes, we want your application. The ward is a 24 bedded care of the elderly ward. The nursing team are proactive, innovative and have a wealth of knowledge in this specialist area. The ward is supported by a team of consultant who are passionate about the speciality. There is also a team of junior doctors who work alongside the nursing team to ensure the best possible care for our patients.

This ward and speciality prides itself on providing the best possible care to elderly patients with a vast array of co morbidities and specialist care requirements. All the nurses have the fundamentals of care at the core of their work. The nursing staffs have a wide range of knowledge base and strong links with our community services, this ensuring safe and effective discharge of our patients. You will be supported through this process.

This particular ward is in one of the newly refurbished and designed wards in the hospital. The ward has 8 single rooms and the rest 4 bedded bays, all with their own ensuite facilities and nurses base in each room. This will allow you to see your patients and spend more time at the bedside providing the care you want to give. The ward is designed with those with visual or cognitive impairment in mind with contrasting colour schemes and light and bright décor.

Working alongside the nursing team is dementia HCSW who are dedicated to caring for and ensuring the experience of patients with dementia is of a high standard. This includes the use of an activities room.

All ward nursing staff are expected to keep up to date with new and emerging initiatives and interventions. All of the team are supported to do mandatory training other courses which are relevant such as pain management and extended skills such as phlebotomy and annulation.

Also staff will be given an induction programme and will receive support through staff meetings, and personal development reviews.
Overall this is an exciting and interesting ward which will give the opportunity for professional development and specialist knowledge in this area.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
