Applications are invited to apply for the post of ‘Consultant Adult Psychiatrist’ covering the mental health needs of the East Conwy adult population.

The post is based in the Nant y Glyn Community Mental Health Team (Colwyn Bay).

Services are currently going through a phase of modernisation to ensure that the Division is fit for modern patient care. Secondary care community services are expected to deliver a recovery based within the provision of the Welsh Mental Health Measure.

Primary Mental Care Services are delivered from the CMHT via dedicated link workers allocated to GP practices. The post holder will have a supervisory and consultancy role within primary care mental health services.

Conwy is superbly located in North Wales, an area of outstanding natural beauty, within easy reach of Chester, Liverpool & Manchester.

You are required to be on the Specialist Register, have CCT or recognised equivalent, or be within 6 months of obtaining it at the time of interview.

The successful candidates will be appointed to the amended Welsh Consultant Contract.

In view of recent changes to Home Office Immigration Regulations all applicants must state their current immigration status, including expiry dates.
