An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent position in to a Band 8a Investigation Manager to join the Complaints Team in Central to support and implement a robust investigation framework in partnership with key stakeholders for the organisation to learn from complaints and to ultimately seek effective remedies for patients and their families.

Some of the key responsibilities will be to: Lead, organise, chair and deliver full and meaningful investigations that are proportionate to the range of complex issues involved ensuring appropriate clinical and strategic engagement throughout the investigation.

Develop and maintain effective relationships and operational links with staff of all levels and disciplines, motivating, persuading and influencing engagement in the wider governance agenda and ensuring that risks and quality issues identified through (complaints) individual and complaints  both inform and translate into positive service learning  improvements.

The post holder will use advanced analytical and judgment skills to analyse complex activities, identify trends and themes to support the clinical teams to develop action plans for learning.
