3. Gyda hyfforddiant penodol, gallu nodi cyflyrau sy'n bygwth bywyd a chyfeirio'n briodol.

4. Bydd gofyn i’r aelod o staff sy’n delio â galwadau gyflenwi'r rota ar gyfer nosweithiau, gyda'r nosau yn ystod penwythnosau ac yn ystod gwyliau'r banc; gyda’r gallu i gyflenwi ar gyfer gweddill dyddiau'r penwythnos a gyda'r nosau yn ystod yr wythnos waith. North Wales GP Out of Hours East Division would like to invite applications for part-time Call Handlers, to work from both bases in Wrexham Maelor Hospital or Deeside Community Hospital as required. There will be an expectation of applicants to be able to work 10 hours per week/43.45 hours per month with shifts covering evenings, weekends, overnights and bank holidays.

The role will involve:

1.To be the first point of contact for patients telephoning the N.Wales GP Out of Hours Service.

2. To log details of the call on to the computer system entering enough detail to enable clinicians to call the patients back and provide the most suitable clinical outcome

3. With specific training, be able to identify life threatening conditions and sign post appropriately

4. The requirement is for call handlers to cover the rota for nights, weekend evenings and Bank Holidays; with an ability to provide cover for the remainder of the weekend days and weekday evenings. Shift length varies from 4.75 to 8 hours.

Full training will be provided.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
