This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the Nursing Team within a brand new prison in partnership with the National Offender Management Service (NOMS).

We are recruiting to a Healthcare Support Worker post that will work for Substance Misuse.

You will be qualified to NVQ level 3 in healthcare or have the equivalent experience in a relevant service area and be willing to undertake any necessary training. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide day to day healthcare for service users under the supervision of a clinician
  • Work in partnership with service users, other health and social care colleagues and including National Offender Management Service  staff as appropriate
  • Support the wider Nursing Team in providing healthcare to service users, working flexibly to support and meet the needs of the service

Please note that any offer of employment will be subject to the successful receipt of enhanced DBS and prison vetting clearances.
