Are you an experienced, motivated and dynamic Nurse with a passion for education?

We are currently looking to recruit a Practice Development Nurse to join our busy Emergency Department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

You should be able to demonstrate leadership, motivational and clinical expertise with the ability to inspire the Nursing team. You will need a clear vision for the future of Emergency Nursing and creativity assisting in the delivery of an educational programme encompassing training and development, utilising a multidisciplinary approach where appropriate.

You will support and implement innovation, promote best practice and make use of audit to influence change whilst working closely with the corporate educational team. By building and strengthening relationships throughout the department and wider Health Board, you will positively influence the profile of Emergency Nursing supporting the wider nursing agenda. Working closely with the Emergency Department Matron, you will identify the current and future developmental needs of the nursing team, developing a strategy to deliver this.

An organised, calm and efficient approach is essential, with the ability to work to deadlines as required. You will need to be a credible Emergency Department Nurse or a Nurse with relevant acute experience with a demonstrated qualification in teaching.
