A registered Pharmacy Technician is required to join our busy Hospital Pharmacy team. The Pharmacy department offers purpose built accommodation, an automated dispensary and automated stock control on some of our wards.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate competency in final accuracy checking and be willing to update this competency if it is not current or has been gained in another establishment.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake accreditation in the All Wales Programme for Medicines Management once they have gained suitable experience within the department.

The post covers a wide range of medicines management roles including: medicines reconciliation on admission wards, assessment of medication prior to surgery in pre-admission clinic, Pharmacy Technician ward teams and support to the dispensary.

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
