Operational Estates Department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital require a highly motivated Estates Officer that will play a proactive role within the Estates Maintenance Team to meet the Health Board's objectives in providing a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. As an Estates Officer you will assist the Estates Manager and the Senior Estates Officers in providing effective site leadership for Operational Estates in Capital Projects, Small Works, Backlog Maintenance and Maintenance contracts. The post holder will be a member of a small group of managerial/technical staff who manage and operate complex technical systems and assets across the Health Board, ensuring compliance with Healthcare standards, procedures and legislation. The post holder will be appointed to Named Authorised Person’s roles in keeping with requirements laid down in Hospital Technical Memorandums (HTM) and Health and Safety documentation. The post holder will be required to participate in the Management Emergency On-call rota.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
