This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Mental Nurse looking to join the mental health team in Wrexham.  You will have excellent communication skills, be self motivated, proactive and committed to the promotion of innovation for service delivery.

The role of the Deputy Ward Manager is to support the Ward Manager in the day to day management of the ward. Take responsibility for the ward in the absence of the Ward Manager. To ensure the effective running of the ward, through the promotion of mental health care through Health Board policies and the NMC code of practice and guidance. Contribute to the development of junior staff, who further the objectives of the service, by providing supervision and training, based on research and emerging trends in healthcare.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
