An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse on Bromfield Ward in the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
The ward consists of 7 cubicles dedicated for treating people with confirmed infections such as Flu, MRSA and Clostridium difficile. The Unit plays an important role in helping us to reduce hospital acquired infections by treating the diagnosed infection promptly, using best practice, while protecting other patients from cross-contamination.
The post holder is responsible for the provision of patient care within the unit and is required to have substantial experience as a Band 5 Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills in relation to all aspects of care, combined with a caring attitude and good interpersonal and communication skills with patients and all members of the multidisciplinary team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
