An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Nurse/Care Practitioner who has proven ENP experience to join a dynamic and progressive team within our Emergency Department. As an emergency nurse/Care Practitioner in the Emergency Department you will be exposed to a diverse variety of undifferentiated presentations from the whole spectrum of medical, surgical and orthopaedic conditions. There will also be opportunities to be involved in audit, research and ongoing departmental developments.
The successful applicant will practice autonomously within a dynamic, enthusiastic and supportive multi-disciplinary team. You will need to have experience in minor injuries and to have successfully completed the Emergency nurse practitioner course. Experience in minor illness is desirable and there will opportunity to complete a minor illness course. You must be able to demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving and managerial skills. Paediatric experience within the emergency/urgent care setting is essential. Any relevant CPD study at Degree or Masters Level will further enhance application.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
