The opportunity has arisen to apply for a full time, Band 6, Community Children/Special School Nurse post. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with commitment to providing high quality, evidence based care. This is an exciting time to be joining our team as we are presently making changes to improve the way we work. The post holder will have school and community responsibilities.
The post holder would work autonomously and as part of the wider team. A programme of induction and regular supervision will be provided along with opportunities or further professional development. The post holder will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people within a Special School/Community and to act as deputy in the absence of the team manager. The post holder will work in a collaborative manner with other professionals to provide an accessible service for children and their families and provide first line management support for members of the Community Nursing Team.
Relevant experience of working with children and their families in a community setting would be vital for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
