Service Manager Liaison / Perinatal

Applications are invited for the above post which is a great opportunity for experienced and highly motivated leader to deliver on exciting plans to transform the way our services are delivered.

This post will have responsibility for the development and operational management and development of Liaison services and Perinatal services across North Wales and will form part of the senior leadership team structure of the Central area.

The post will have specific responsibilities for:

    • Delivering and developing safe, effective, efficient and high quality perinatal services across North Wales.
    • Leadership and management of the perinatal team which aims to promote the wellbeing of the individual and their families as well as agreed service standards and outcome measures.
  • Responsibility for developing good relationships between East, West and Central areas and interface service within BCUHB, Welsh Government and third sector.
  • Providing and ensuring effective leadership and clinical supervision

In addition, the successful applicant will work closely with the senior leadership team in Central in supporting the introduction of new models of care as we move forward MHLD strategies.    

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
