Then this will be the perfect role for you.

The Pathology Service in Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, quality focussed scientist to join our Pathology Quality and Governance team in the role of Performance and Improvement Manager.

Working with our experienced Head of Quality and Governance, Scientific Operational Service Managers, Clinical Service Leads and our established team of Quality Leads you will guide and support the performance and improvement of our Blood Sciences and Cellular Pathology services in this varied and busy senior management role

The successful candidate will have significant medical laboratory and management experience; an extensive knowledge of Pathology quality, governance and safety, plus, a working knowledge of the legislative and best practice structures that ensure we deliver a safe, effective and continually improving service.

This post is one of two senior management roles within the autonomous Pathology Quality and Governance team covering the three areas of BCUHB: East (Wrexham); Central (Rhyl) and West (Bangor). Whilst there will be a requirement to travel between the three Pathology laboratories, your base is negotiable.
