Advanced Critical Care Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Advanced Critical Care Practitioner band 8a to Post. This 12 bedded Intensive Care unit serves a busy district general hospital which provides emergency care for all general specialities as well a number regionally based services.

Glan Clwyd is situated centrally in North Wales in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. With excellent road links to the East 30 minutes from Chester and 30 minutes to Snowdonia National Park in the West

We are seeking a fully qualified practitioner who are enthusiastic and committed to developing the service. Applicants must have a recognised critical care qualification or significant proven critical care experience. Individuals must hold a Master in Advanced clinical practice and be eligible to apply for registration with the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine. Candidates must be able to provide evidence of continuous professional development in critical care speciality, and hold a current ALS certification.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
