The East Neurodevelopmental Team covers the Flintshire and Wrexham local authority areas providing holistic Neurodevelopmental (ND) assessment leading to development of a personal strengths and needs profile and diagnosis if appropriate (ASD and / or ADHD generally). The team has been developing over the last 2 years and recently a vacancy has arisen for a senior clinical psychologist to provide excellent clinical expertise in both assessment and formulation for children and young people with Neurodevelopmental issues and related / differential diagnoses.

The successful candidate should have experience working with people with Neurodevelopmental conditions and preferably experience working with children and their families. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to provide clinical supervision for staff from a range of different professions as agreed with the service manager and the clinical lead. The role is challenging and demanding but offers excellent opportunities to develop clinical and professional skills through close working with the clinical lead and other professionals within this dynamic team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
