The opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapy support worker to work alongside the Occupational Therapy team, based in Nant y Glyn CMHT, Colwyn Bay.

The post holder will assist the Occupational Therapists working with service users with severe and enduring mental health needs in the community.

The post holder needs to be able to work well within the team but also be confident and competent to work autonomously.

The post holder will carry out identified individual interventions with patients as agreed with the Occupational Therapist as well as supporting the Occupational Therapist in providing group work interventions. The post holder will also assist with delegated duties to help with the efficient running of the department.

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
