An organised and efficient secretary is required to provide high-level confidential secretarial support to the Children's Services Management Team, at Ysbyty Gwynedd

The Secretary will act as the first point of contact for the Team by telephone, e-mail and correspondence or for visitors and will be required to  provide information on a wide range of matters relating to the work of the Area Heads of Service and their team.

It will also be necessary for the Secretary to participate in meetings for the Area Team as required, by taking and transcribing formal minutes, compiling, circulating the agenda, and following up action points, some meetings may be staffing/investigation-related and require a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

The successful candidate must be a good communicator, have excellent interpersonal skills and work in an organised manner. He/she must have a good standard of education and must be a team player with the ability to organise others.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
