Clinical Quality Improvement Lead

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join our team. This new role will provide an evidence based Quality Improvement focus within West Area Community Nursing Services, autonomously leading on Quality Improvement methods to support sustainable growth in the Area. The role involves engaging in clinical development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to Wound care which includes Wound care, Pressure Relieving Equipment use and Leg ulcer prevention/treatment.

The post holder will be identified as a clinical expert and have a high clinical profile ensuring provision of effective and efficient care within Area Community Nursing Services. The post holder will manage and co-ordinate the delivery of a strong and robust training programme both formally and informally to Community Nurses across Gwynedd and Mon in pressure ulcer prevention, wound management, Leg Ulcer management as well as the effective and timely use of pressure relieving equipment in the community. The post holder will be expected to exercise a high degree of personal professional autonomy and make critical judgements to satisfy the expectations and demands of the role.

Full and part time hours will be considered 

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
