Applications are invited for the post of Relief Clerk within the Paediatric Department of the Children and Young People's Services.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person who will provide relief clerical administrative support in Acute Paediatrics, based at Glan Clwyd Hospital.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, good communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and be efficient and organised with their own workload.

A good telephone manner and communication skills are essential.  The post holder will be required to demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.

The Relief Clerk will cover colleagues when they are on annual or sick leave, and will therefore be required to cover roles such as ward clerk, receptionist, appointments clerk and safeguarding liaison clerk, following the weekly rota.

The Clerk will work closely with the administrative team and managers.

The ability to speak Welsh essential.
