We are offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring medical trainees to undertake an innovative post, designed primarily with education and training as the focus. It would ideally be suited to CMTs who have passed the written part of their membership exam, who are looking to build on their clinical experience and practical experience in preparation for passing their PACES examination and becoming a StR in a medical speciality. It would also be suitable for CMTs at other stages of their training who are undertaking the written exam, or who have achieved membership and wish to gain additional experience prior to applying for a StR post. This is a CT post like no other in that in each 6 month attachment there will be a full month dedicated to out-patient speciality based learning, and development of procedural capabilities
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
