As a Higher Laboratory Stores assistant in Blood Sciences the post holder is working
under supervision of qualified scientists for the delegated tasks required for the
delivery of a fit-for-purpose, 24/7 medical laboratory service analysing
and reporting on blood, urine, faeces and other body materials to achieve the
objectives of efficient and effective patient care, and effective resource management
within the hospital. The post holder will be required to conduct regular reviews on
the department’s stock lists on internal computer systems.
