Specialty Doctor Emergency Department
Applications are invited for the above post in the Emergency Department based at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. Additional sessions can be arranged at mutual convenience and scope exists for flexible working and individualised job planning subject to service needs. The appointment is subject to the national Terms and Conditions of service for Specialty Doctors. There will be a requirement to work a variety of shifts on the rota which compromise of day, afternoon, evening, twilight and night shifts. The duties of the Specialty Doctor in ED will be predominantly clinical. However there will be involvement in the teaching and support of junior staff. The specialty doctor will be expected to make a full contribution to clinical governance and audit for which one session is allowed subject to ongoing appraisal. The post holder will be supported in their professional development and will gain excellent clinical experience and would be especially but not exclusively of interest to anyone considering undertaking Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR).If required further experience in the allied specialties such as Paediatrics, Critical Care, Acute Medicine etc. can be arranged.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
