We currently have 1 x 16 hour post post over three sessions per week available on a permanent basis at Band 2 within the Catering Department, located within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
Kitchen working hours are predominantly between 7:30am to 1:30pm, however service requirements may involve shifts anytime between the hours of 7am – 8pm, which will involve some weekend work and various shift patterns including early and late shifts as the service requires. The pay rate will increase for all hours worked on a Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays.
You must have good communication skills, as you will be working within the kitchen and serving food at ward level. Candidates must be able to demonstrate ability to work flexibly and on own initiative.
You will hold a current level 2 food hygiene certificate, or be willing to work towards this qualification. Catering experience is essential for this post.
