Bangor's Emergency Department is unique. Sandwiched between the mountains of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey, this is the place to enjoy rural Emergency Medicine. Our happy, friendly department (seeing 52,000 patients pa) is developing fast as we pursue our goal of excellence in rural Emergency Medicine.

We are looking to appoint another consultant to join our team. We offer a civilized 1 in 8 rota, and the Welsh consultant contact is based upon 7 DCC: 3 SPA which provides flexibility in job planning.

As for life in North Wales, if you like outdoor pursuits, you’ll be in heaven here: everything from hill-walking to kite-surfing is on the doorstep. Yet we are only a one-hour drive from Chester and the M6, and three hours from London by train.
