BCUHB’s Translation Service is looking for a full time Translator to work in the organisation’s Welsh Language Unit for a fixed 12 month contract. The successful candidate will be a part of the organisation's translation team and will provide an effective translation service.
The work will involve translating a wide range of documents including reports, letters, information leaflets etc. The successful candidate will be an experienced translator (Welsh/English) and will be able to work accurately, effectively and possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Word. The Health Board provides personal development opportunities and a generous pension scheme.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
Location: To be discussed, including home working

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
