Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor - Specialty Doctor in Sexual Health
Salary: £40,233 - £75,023 *pro rata (up to 6 sessions per week)
The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board welcomes applicants for 1 x part time post (up to 6 sessions) of Specialty Doctor within the Integrated Sexual Health Service at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. This is a replacement post to cover maternity leave, however this post could possibly be advertised as a substantive post. The post holder will work closely with the current two Consultants in Genitourinary/HIV Medicine and Integrated Sexual Health/HIV, to deliver clinical services of the highest standards across North West Wales.
The main base for this post will be at Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital with satellite clinics delivered from Alltwen Hospital, Tremadog and Penrhos Stanley Hospital, Holyhead. The number of clinics / sessions and satellite sites are negotiable and the weekly time table of this post may be modified according to service requirements.
Ysbyty Gwynedd is located on the doorstep of the Snowdonia National Park and the Menai Straits, and covers a rural area the size of Greater London. There are unique challenges in delivering high quality health care to this diverse population, and we are seeking a highly motivated team player to come and join a dynamic team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
