We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who must have Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent qualification in Gynaecological Oncology and be registered in GMC’s specialist register or be within six months of obtaining this at the time of interview, to join our team of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and two sub-specialist consultant Gynaecological Oncologists. This is a permanent post.
The department aims to build standard approaches to clinical problems using common protocols and care pathways and the ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary team is essential. Applicants must be flexible and ready to meet the challenges presented by the evolving health service in the 21st century.
The Consultant will be expected to participate in all aspects of work including outpatient clinic sessions in both gynaecology oncology and Colposcopy, MDT working and operating theatre lists. The new consultant will participate in a 1 in 5 on-call rota for gynaecological oncology at Bangor with prospective cover.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
