The Health Board wishes to appoint to full-time posts to be based at Ysbyty Gwynedd, the District General Hospital in Bangor, North Wales.
Ysbyty Gwynedd is a modern 468 bed District General Hospital sited in the university city of Bangor. The hospital catchment area covers a large rural, mountainous and remote area and we therefore still have an unselected take including trauma, paediatrics and vascular emergencies. We are the most remote trauma unit in the North West and North Wales trauma network and are at the gateway to Snowdonia National Park. Ysbyty Gwynedd provides a comprehensive range of services to the population of Gwynedd, Anglesey and parts of Conwy in the region of North West Wales. It provides all the disciplines in General Medicine and Surgery in addition to all subspecialties, including Accident and Emergency, Intensive Care Unit, Surgical High Dependency Unit and Coronary Care Unit.
