Base: Abergele Hospital

The North Wales Adolescent Service (NWAS) is a purpose built CAMHS Tier 4 Inpatient unit with excellent facilities including a large onsite school. We are situated in a picturesque hospital setting in scenic North Wales. We are home to a 12 bedded General Adolescent inpatient Ward (Kestrel) and an Intensive Outreach Team (Kite).

The Kite team consists of Senior Nursing Staff and a Principal Clinical Psychologist. This 7 day a week team provides alternatives to admission and has strong links with both inpatient and community teams.

We are looking for a dynamic and progressive Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join us and to contribute to both teams. We are happy to consider flexible working, with a job plan to meet your specific needs. We will also welcome candidates with subspecialty interests and we are keen to discuss your requirements.
